Available: driver's airbag (standard), passenger airbag (standard on Panorama Family), side bags (standard on Panorama) and window bags (optional). All the airbags are controlled by a sophisticated electronic control unit that decides which and how many protection devices should be activated in the event of an accident by means of sensors installed on the vehicle. The side rear seats are equipped with an Isofix provision for anchoring child seats.

Locks with a deadlock, a device that locks the door handles and the internal lock mechanisms, to foil any attempt at forcing entry and theft. Thefts will also be foiled by an alarm system with a double level of protection: exterior – by means of sensors on the doors, bonnet, tailgate and electrical supply – and interior, by means of ultrasound sensors that detect movements in the passenger compartment.
